Bright Green Dye is a dye in Crimson Desert that unlocks a range of bright green shades for armor and equipment customization. Once consumed from your inventory, the dye permanently registers all associated green tones at any dyehouse you visit. Bright Green Dye can be obtained by purchasing it from the Dyehouse in Calphade or by crafting it at a cauldron using a combination of yellow medicinal herbs and insects.
Green dyes are less common than the red and yellow families available in Hernand. Because the Bright Green Dye is sold in Calphade, players typically encounter it later in their adventure after progressing beyond the Hernand region.
Purchase: Bought from the Dyehouse in Calphade. Speak to the dye merchant inside the Calphade Dyehouse to buy the dye directly.
Craft: Crafted at a cauldron once the recipe is known. The recipe unlocks automatically when you discover a Bright Green Dye through purchase or world exploration.
Ingredient | Quantity | Where to Find |
|---|---|---|
Yellow Medicinal Herb | 5 | Foraging from herb patches in meadows and fields |
5 | Common across woodlands; found on trees | |
3 | North of Hernand near cliffs and trees |
Crafting Station: Cauldron
The cauldron in Hernand (north of the rock-paper-scissors minigame location) is the most accessible early option. Cauldrons in other settlements across Pywel also work.
After obtaining the Bright Green Dye, open your inventory and select the "Use" option on the dye item. This permanently learns the green color family. Visit any dyehouse to apply green shades to your equipment. Speak to the Dyer NPC, select the gear piece you want to recolor, choose the desired green shade from the palette, and pay the small fee to complete the dyeing process.
Green dyes are among the rarer color families. If you want green gear early, plan a trip to Calphade once that region becomes available.
Yellow Medicinal Herbs serve double duty as ingredients for green dyes and yellow dyes. Prioritize which color you want first before spending your herb supply.
Beetles and Longhorn Beetles are lightweight and easy to collect while exploring. Pick them up whenever you see them on tree trunks.
