Bounty Notice: Simon de Montfort is a key item and bounty quest in Crimson Desert, posted by House Celeste on notice boards around Hernand. Simon de Montfort is an outlaw wanted for stealing honey. While his crime is one of the lighter offenses among the Hernand bounties, a bounty is a bounty, and House Celeste still wants him brought to justice.
Like all bounty notices, this item cannot be sold. It is stored in the Key Items section of the player's inventory and is used to progress through the bounty hunting quest line.

Bounty notices become available starting in Chapter 2: Golden Greed. To pick up Simon de Montfort's bounty, look for notice boards and poles scattered around Hernand. They are marked with a purple letter icon on the minimap. Interact with a board and select the Bounty Notice for Simon de Montfort.
After accepting the bounty, Simon de Montfort's last known location is marked on your map within the Hernand region. Travel to the marked area and watch for the red outlaw icon on your minimap.
Simon de Montfort is a honey thief, not a violent criminal. Compared to targets like Salvatore (wanted for murder) or Alessio (wanted for running a criminal organization), Simon is relatively easy to subdue. He may attempt to flee when spotted, so be ready to give chase. Close the distance quickly and use a takedown to apprehend him.
After subduing Simon, pick him up and load him onto your horse. Transport him to the Hernand Guard Station to turn him in. Remember that you cannot fast travel while carrying a bounty target. If your horse bucks or takes too much damage, Kliff and the prisoner will fall off, so avoid riding through dangerous areas.

The reward for Simon de Montfort is modest compared to high-value targets like Salvatore, reflecting the lighter nature of his crime.
Simon de Montfort is one of the easier bounties and a good early target for players learning the bounty system.
