Authorized Access is the short quest that first opens up Pororin, the hidden village tucked into the Trembling Woods. Players stumble into the quest simply by walking one of the forest approach roads toward the settlement. Guards posted along those paths fire poison darts, and the character is knocked unconscious by the third dart. A short cutscene plays each time the player wakes up, and after the third knockout the quest line officially opens in the journal and can be completed.
The trigger happens very early in the game. Most players encounter it while exploring the Hernand region on their way to other content, which is why the quest is often completed before readers even realize they have started a dedicated quest line.
After the third knockout the player wakes inside Pororin and is allowed to speak with the villagers who captured them. The quest itself is intentionally brief, often taking around five minutes of actual play time. Follow the journal marker to the overseer, accept the terms of entry, and complete the short investigation or delivery step required to be granted formal permission to walk the village freely. Once the final dialogue closes, the quest is marked complete and Pororin becomes a fully explorable location with fast travel access. The same completion also unblocks later questline steps that rely on being allowed inside the village, including later visits to the Pororin Research Institute.
Patch 1.04 retroactively attaches a new reward to this quest: the Sadhu of Bond, a placeable bird taming item. Completing Authorized Access after the patch deposits the Sadhu of Bond directly into the player inventory.
The Sadhu of Bond functions as a bird feeder. Use it from the inventory to place it on the ground, then fill it with food. Birds in the surrounding region will spawn and land at the feeder to eat. Every bite the bird takes raises its Trust toward the player, with each bite granting roughly twenty-five Trust. Once Trust reaches one hundred, a prompt appears to take the bird in as a pet. Tamed birds work like other pets: they can be summoned, they stay with the player, and they will pick up items off the ground during exploration.
The food placed in the Sadhu of Bond determines which general type of bird will approach. Grains, fruits, and vegetables attract smaller herbivore birds such as pigeons and crows, while raw meat and fish attract predator birds such as hawks, eagles, and the large condor variant. No single food is tied to a specific species, so mixing both food categories in the feeder is safe and lets the region's local bird pool dictate who actually shows up. Because each region has its own bird roster, where the feeder is placed matters as much as what goes inside it. Getting close to a visible target bird, even underneath it when it is circling, makes it far more likely to land and feed.
Food split: grains, fruits, and vegetables for small herbivore birds (pigeons, crows, smaller songbirds); raw meat and fish for predator birds (hawks, eagles, condor). Barley, sold in the Graymane camp, is a reliable grain option for the herbivore side of the table.
Players who finished Authorized Access before Patch 1.04 shipped are not locked out of the new reward. On the first login after the patch, the Sadhu of Bond is automatically deposited in the camp's private storage chest. If the item is not in the player inventory and the quest is already marked complete in the journal, check the private storage at the main camp before assuming anything is missing. A short in-game message typically announces the reward on login as well.
