Corsair Cove released on July 31, 2026, and has been patched steadily since. The updates so far have been corrective rather than content-bearing: crash fixes, stuck tutorial hints, visual faults, and localisation cleanup, with occasional small balance and interface adjustments. See Platforms and Release for launch details.

Patch 1
The first patch arrived a day after launch and dealt mainly with tutorial hints getting stuck. It also removed all community events other than immigration events while the tutorial is active, so early objectives are not competing with world interruptions.
The more interesting fix was structural: a save guard system that clears stale hints during progression and when loading a save. The Place your Pier here hint can still appear for players loading an older save, but progressing to the next objective now clears it automatically rather than leaving the run wedged.
Current Known Issue
Building two Small Gun Towers during the tutorial can block progression. If both are built and supplied at roughly the same time, there may not be enough Black Powder to supply both, which stalls the objective that waits on ammunition production. The recommended workaround is to build only one Small Gun Tower during the tutorial.
A fix is in progress. The developer has said the proper solution needs broader technical changes and is being tested rather than rushed out, so it is targeted at a future patch rather than an immediate hotfix. See Getting Started for the tutorial sequence this affects.
