The Ranger is a ranged class that's all about mobility. Hit from distance, dodge away when enemies get close. If they catch you, pull out the rapier and hope for the best.
It was playable in the June 2025 closed beta.

Rangers use Vigor, a stamina-like resource that regenerates over time and through movement.
Here's where it gets complicated: you're actually managing three resources. Base stamina for dodging and aimed shots, Vigor for abilities, and whatever your current weapon needs. It's a lot to juggle.
Precision shots and elemental arrows. Fire, poison, ice effects. Slow at first but scales well. Best for single-target damage at long range.
Faster rate of fire, more forgiving aim. Slightly shorter range than the bow but more consistent damage. Good for beginners who aren't used to aiming.
Your emergency melee option. When enemies get in your face and you can't kite anymore, this keeps you alive. Not a main damage weapon.
Hit-and-run. Stay at range, prioritize positioning, swap to rapier only when you have to. You can only have four skills active per weapon, so plan your loadout.
Rangers are strong solo but squishy. If you like kiting and managing resources, this is your class. If you prefer getting into the thick of things, look elsewhere.
