Version 1.1
September 27, 2026 at 05:31 AM
Initial version (2026-09-27)
Version 1.1 is Aniimo's first content update. Its full title is Setting Out in Pursuit of the Wind: Part I, and it went live on September 23, 2026 at 10:00 (UTC+8), the same morning the iOS and Android versions launched. The Part I in the title implies a second part, but as of September 27, 2026 the studio had announced neither a date nor any content for it. The version log is on Update History and the mobile launch on Launch and Reception.
The update needed ten hours of downtime, run on each server's local clock, and the studio warned that the actual duration could vary.
Server | Maintenance window |
|---|---|
Aniimo-Europe | September 22, 2026, 16:00 to September 23, 2026, 02:00 (UTC) |
Aniimo-America | September 22, 2026, 12:00 to 22:00 (UTC-4) |
Aniimo-Apac | September 23, 2026, 00:00 to 10:00 (UTC+8) |
Every Pathfinder registered before the update was promised 500 Glimmer. The servers came back a few minutes late, five minutes according to the Chinese-language text of the studio's notice, and the studio added a further 500 Glimmer for the delay plus one Sparkling Cube as compensation for known issues. The in-game mailbox was unavailable at the time, so both were queued as two mails for when it was restored: 1,000 Glimmer in the first and the Sparkling Cube in the second. No build number was published for the update. The issues themselves are on Known Issues.
The headline addition is a Legendary season built around Irisalis, which debuts in this version. It runs from September 25, 2026 at 10:00 to December 10, 2026 at 07:59 (UTC+8); on the Europe server it ends at 23:59 UTC on December 9 and on the America server at 19:59 (UTC-4) the same day. It opens at the Student I rank.
Iris Petals come from a new source with a weekly limit.
A set number of Iris Petals crafts the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, which unlocks the Rift Space where Irisalis lives. Forging a Twine with it unlocks the season's Blessing Gifts, and befriending it unlocks its exclusive Transmog ability.
Once the Irisalis Aniipod has been crafted, more Iris Petals craft the Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser's Departure. It has a 100 percent capture rate, and the Aniimo caught with it has Perfect Innate Potential, appears in its Sparkling Form and carries perks exclusive to the season.
How the season fits the Legendary capture design introduced at launch is covered on Legendary Aniimo.
Holo-Battle Interlink runs every week from Thursday 04:00 to Monday 03:59 after the update and opens at the Trailblazer I rank. The update notice describes it as a simulation that recreates Alpha encounters from records of high-threat Aniimo. A team of four Pathfinders, or a player matched with AI teammates, takes it on.
Each cycle offers three routes, each with its own Alphas and environmental mechanics. Players set their Aniimo lineup and pick buffs before the fight; in four-player co-op the team leader picks the buffs. Routes can be replayed freely and the best Star Rank on each is kept, with milestone rewards paid on the combined Star total across all three. Helping other Pathfinders raise their Star Ranks earns Support Rewards, and both reward tracks reset weekly. The other co-op modes are on Egg Heist and PvP.
Chaos Mode for Operation: Egg Heist unlocked on September 24, 2026 at 04:00 on each server's local clock. It is the mode's top difficulty. Entry needs a Chaos Ticket and Tier IV, Elite Egg Seeker, in Operation: Egg Heist. Drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles are much higher than normal and ultra-rare Secret Collectibles can turn up, but the escape conditions are strict and the studio recommends playing it as a team.
Four limited events were announced with the update. The dates below run on each server's local clock: UTC on Europe, UTC-4 on America and UTC+8 on Apac.
Event | Dates | Unlocks at | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
Glamour Star | September 25, 2026, 04:00 to October 2, 2026, 03:59 | Student II | An audition with the theme Floral Soirée. Players accessorise an Aniimo to fit the theme and are scored on how well it matches, with rewards at score milestones. |
Aniimo Discovery | September 25, 2026, 04:00 to October 9, 2026, 03:59 | Student II | Field research on a brand-new Aniimo that the update notice does not name. Search Attempts are spent to track and capture it; free attempts refill periodically but do not stack, and Vein Essence buys more. Research quests pay rewards and unlock Search Buffs at the Research Center. |
Vein Abundance | September 28, 2026, 04:00 to October 12, 2026, 03:59, in two stages | Student II | Prismana Form Melloblum appears at Rosetower Woods from September 28 to October 5, then Prismana Form Waleetle at Berylline Vale from October 5 to October 12. |
Journey Chronicles | October 1, 2026, 04:00 to October 29, 2026, 03:59 | Student I | A login event that pays travel gifts for logging in on a set number of days. |
As of September 27, 2026 the English update notice is the only description of the Aniimo Discovery creature, and it gives no name, so it should not be assumed to be Sparkelf or any other creature. Berylline Vale is the name the event uses; whether it is the same place as the Berylline Causeway habitat has not been published.
