Corrected the language count from five to thirteen, added four more rating boards, added iOS download size and the locale spec difference
Aniimo has published a hardware specification for its PC build. The figures below come from the game's own store listing and cover the Windows version. See Development for the studio and release history and Servers and Cross-Play for the full platform line-up.
Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
Operating system | Windows 10, 64-bit | Windows 10 or later, 64-bit |
Processor | Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, or above | Intel Core i7-12700F or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, or above |
Memory | 12 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 6800, or above |
DirectX | Version 11 | Version 11 |
Network | Broadband internet connection | Broadband internet connection |
Storage | 45 GB available space | 45 GB available space |
A broadband connection appears in both columns because Aniimo is an always-online game; there is no published offline mode. The 45 GB install size is the same for both tiers.
One thing worth flagging: the Simplified Chinese version of the same store listing carries a different and noticeably lower specification, asking for a ninth-generation Core i5 or Ryzen 2700 at minimum and an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 as its recommendation. The memory, DirectX and storage figures match. Treat that as a locale difference in how the listing was filled in rather than as a revision of the specification above.
On PC, Aniimo supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 at launch, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution built on the second-generation transformer model. The studio announced the support in March 2026 as part of a broader performance pass on Idyll's environments. DLSS support is a graphics-driver feature and does not indicate which engine the game is built on, which the studio has not confirmed.
A separate voice-interaction feature that lets a Pathfinder chat with their Aniimo, teach them skills and send them to gather resources by voice has been announced as a post-launch update rather than a launch feature. No date, platform list or hardware requirement has been published for it.
The PC client ships in thirteen languages, five of them with full voice acting. Multi-language voiceover for the main story was added for launch, alongside a translation quality pass across every supported language.

The Xbox listing declares a wider set of locale codes than this. Where the two disagree, the thirteen above are the ones tied to the PC client itself.
The game carries native titles in several of those markets, published as 伊莫 in Chinese, アニモ in Japanese, and 애니모 in Korean.
Feature | Supported |
|---|---|
Single-player | Yes |
Online multiplayer | Yes |
Online PvP | Yes |
Online co-op | Yes |
Cross-platform multiplayer | Yes |
Full controller support | Yes |
DualSense and DualShock controllers | Yes |
Family sharing | Yes |
Achievements | Yes |
In-app purchases | Yes |
Cross-platform play is a stated design pillar rather than an afterthought, and the feature list matches it; see Egg Heist and PvP for how the multiplayer modes use it.
The Xbox version adds 4K output, HDR, ray tracing, Dolby Atmos, console keyboard and mouse support, and Play Anywhere. Online multiplayer on Xbox consoles requires a Game Pass tier that includes online play, though the game does not itself require Xbox Live Gold. The PlayStation version requires an online connection, supports Remote Play, and requires the DualSense controller's vibration and adaptive trigger functions.
Aniimo has been rated by classification boards across most of its launch markets. Every board also flags that users interact online and that the game contains in-game purchases.
Board | Rating | Content Descriptors |
|---|---|---|
ESRB (North America) | Everyone 10+ | Fantasy violence |
PEGI (Europe) | 7 | Mild violence |
USK (Germany) | 6 | Comic violence, dark atmosphere |
GRB (South Korea) | All ages | Fear, horror or threat elements |
DJCTQ (Brazil) | Livre, general audiences | Fantasy violence |
Australian Classification | PG | Scary scenes, online interactivity and chat |
Poland | 12 | Violence |
Taiwan | PG12, guidance 12 and over | Violence, horror |
Chile | 8 | Not listed |
IARC | 7 | Mild violence |
The Taiwanese rating notes both bloodless combat violence and some characters' figure-emphasising clothing. The App Store lists the iOS build at a 9+ age rating, citing infrequent or mild cartoon and fantasy violence and infrequent or mild contests.
Some storefronts carry self-declared placeholder ratings for territories that differ from the board data above, notably for Brazil and Germany. Where they disagree, the board ratings listed here are the ones published through the console catalogue.
Platform | Published Requirement |
|---|---|
iOS | Minimum iOS 15.0. Initial download around 604 MiB. 127 supported devices. Game Center enabled. |
Android | No specification published as of the week before launch. |
Mac | No specification published. |
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S | No specification published. |
The PC store listing covers only the Windows build, so its Mac requirements block is empty and its platform flags declare Windows only. Mac was named as a launch platform in official mid-2026 material, but no Mac build had appeared on any storefront a week before release, so treat Mac availability as announced rather than verified.
Aniimo launches on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 (UTC+8) on PC, consoles and Xbox cloud gaming, with the mobile versions following on September 23, 2026.
