Pathfinder level and title control access to story quests and the level cap for owned Aniimo. Character progression is separate from creature training. Complete Elite Training, catch previously unrecorded Aniimo, finish quests, and collect Lumin Ambers to earn experience.

Promotion combines training-course requirements, a Pathfinder encounter, and Dr. Lewis's Theory Test. Check the active quest before travelling, since reaching a level alone does not complete the assessment.
Daily Activities provide repeatable experience. Regional Collection Badges also contribute to training objectives. When story progress stops at a title requirement, complete these activities and return to the promotion quest.
Pathfinder Promotions and Theory Tests covers the Student II through Wayfarer III duels, course gates, theory-test answers, and reward materials. Match each question by its topic rather than memorizing the order of the answer buttons.
