Mistwoods Exploration
October 24, 2026 at 06:18 PM
Add a complete original regional exploration checklist with all supported chest, Amber, egg and useful route facts
Check the river platforms, hollow ruins and leaf piles in Mistwoods. Several hidden rewards respond to creature conversations or matching-form interactions rather than combat alone.
The numbered chest rows form a search checklist, not an in-game reward sequence. Bring the required actions before attempting an enclosed or elevated stop. A row with no special action describes a place to search, rather than a guarantee about its contents.
Chest | Where to search and what to do |
|---|---|
Chest 1 | Search the cliff above the northeastern cave. |
Chest 2 | At the four stone circles, tag the Hummin whenever it surfaces until it drops the reward. |
Chest 3 | Explore the small cliff beside the western pond. |
Chest 4 | Interact with the glowing flower on the cliff above the western pond. |
Chest 5 | Reach the rock in the western pond. |
Chest 6 | Twine with Hummin and speak to the unusual Hummin on the central river platform. |
Chest 7 | Clear the northern leaf pile. |
Chest 8 | Search immediately to the right of Mistwoods Bloom. |
Chest 9 | In Hummin form, keep gathering the Peculiar Hummin's Red Caps until its supply runs out. |
Chest 10 | Enter the tiny southern cave guarded by Flutternym. |
Chest 11 | Defeat the Peculiar Hummin in the eastern ruins. |
Chest 12 | Check the lower-left corner of the eastern ruins. |
Chest 13 | Drop through the eastern temple's roof opening, then interact with the glowing flower. |
Chest 14 | Reach the roof of the eastern temple. |
Chest 15 | Burn the vines beneath the lake-overlook platform so the released box lands on its button. |
Chest 16 | Search the northern part of the southwestern lake. |
Chest 17 | Explore the cliff above the southwestern lake. |
Chest 18 | Check the small southern cliff beside the collapsed ruins. |
Chest 19 | Search beneath the wooden platform over the southwestern lake. |
Chest 20 | Check the lower-right corner of the eastern ruins. |
Chest 21 | Follow the southeastern roadside. |
Chest 22 | Climb the pillar left of Burning Brambles Sanctum. |
Chest 23 | In the eastern singing circle, replace the sleeping participant while Twined in the matching form. |
Collections require gathering the energy before their timer ends. Markings require a matching viewpoint; they are separate from ordinary pickups and guarded rewards.
Pickup or challenge | Type | Route |
|---|---|---|
Starry Flow | Collection | Start on the large root across the river and gather the energy before time expires. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 1 | Amber | Defeat the Hummin surrounding the Amber. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 3 | Amber | Break the wall beneath the fallen masonry near the middle of Mistwoods. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 4 | Amber | Check the stump in the southwestern area. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 5 | Amber | Strike the fallen-leaf heap hiding the pickup nearby. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 6 | Amber | Drop from the cliff onto the high wooden plank in the southwest. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 7 | Amber | Defeat the Flutternym protecting the southwestern pickup. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 8 | Amber | Defeat or catch the three Budclaw. |
Into the Mist | Collection | Burn the thorns around the small southwestern pillar before starting the relay. |
Float Down | Collection | Use flight to follow the southwestern energy trail. |
Shaded Stone | Marking | Break the rocks in front of the big tree so the marking can be aligned. |
Mistwoods Lumin Amber 9 | Amber | In Hummin form, dig into the empty place in the circle of Hummin. |
The egg type identifies the observed reward, not a respawn timer. Hatching outcomes and requirements depend on the individual egg.
Egg | Where to look |
|---|---|
Alpha Egg | Climb the giant tree near Omega Tuckin. |
Incredible Egg | Reach the ruin's corner wall west of Omega Tuckin. |
Incredible Egg | Enter the small leaf-covered hole northwest of Nimbus RV Park. |

|---|---|
Forest Sparki and Wisptis | Nighttime. |
Forest Flamerion | Capture fifteen Forest Sparki in total at night. |
Forest Ignitis | Use Basic Ignitis to defeat six Forest Wisptis. |
Stop | Practical landmark or action |
|---|---|
Alpha Leafy | Grove northeast of Breezy Plains Branch. |
Omega Tuckin | Burrow by the large tree north of Mistwoods Bloom. |
Twisted Roots | Underground Sanctum opened through Binding Oath. |
Southern Bloomville road, reached from the Nimbus RV Park. | |
