The regional Fragrant Journeys turn story ingredients into perfumes for A Fragrant Dream. Most begin with a perfumer in the Sea of Flowers, then send the Pathfinder to a different region. Keep the two Warrior chains separate and collect the ingredient named by the current request.

Berylline Vale: Perfect Mistake
Follow Perfume, New Product Promotion! to Marlowe in the Sea of Flowers. Test the perfume, then return and speak again after the fainting scene.
Complete The Perfect Path in Berylline Vale. Inspect the large rock from that story and collect Stoneflower Dew.
Bring the Dew back to Marlowe for Perfect Mistake.
Blitzwood: Golden Wish
Find Avetine beside Baboni in the north-central Sea of Flowers.
Complete An Answer from the Heavens with the Bolty group near the Blitz Tree, south of Alpha Blazen. It provides Golden Answer.
Deliver Golden Answer to Avetine for Golden Wish.
Beast Fang Ridge: Heartfire Orange
Follow A Perfumer Lying on the Ground to Ranka beside Bloomville's lake. This request follows the Emberpup and Inferlupa Warrior story, with its real-reset waits. If that Warrior story is already complete, an additional three-date wait is not required.
Stage | Action |
|---|---|
First Warrior session | After the Inferlupa encounter, speak with Scared Emberpup, then the Fragrant Emberpup behind the rock. This optional conversation also opens Fists I. |
After the next reset | Continue Warrior and ask the Fragrant Emberpup at the campfire whether it is Ranka's partner. Reporting the location to Ranka is optional at this point; the ingredient is still needed. |
After the following reset | Finish Warrior by defeating and speaking with Inferlupa. Receive Flareburst Flower from the Fragrant Emberpup, then deliver it to Ranka. |
Driftwise Meadow: Heart's Resonance
Meet Fantine beside Sad Nimbi at the river north of Driftwise Meadow Bloom. Finish Fentufts and the Nimbi, return to the flower to collect Bittersweet Bloom, then hand it to Fantine. Finishing the Fentuft dialogue and taking the resulting bloom are separate actions.
Russet Highlands: Eternal Red
Follow Eternal Red to Grace and Emberpup at Bloomville's Perfume Workshop furnace.
Finish the separate Russet Highlands Warrior story with Sorora. After the Infergon encounter, collect both Flame Flower and Flame Flower Root.
Give the Root to Grace to make Burst of Red.
Take both Flame Flower and Burst of Red to Cress for Eternal Red.
Echoback Landing: Whisper of Longing
Follow Longing by the Water to Elvira and Appo near the lake at Bloomville's entrance. Complete Everlasting Echoback Song with Sorora at night, follow the Echonite trail, and collect Whalesong Blossom after the whale scene. Give the blossom to Elvira.
Rosetower Woods: Home
During daytime, track A Perfumer Who Ventured Deep into Danger? to Awen northeast of Rosetower Woods Bloom. Follow her toward Whiterose Tower.
Finish Flowers and Thorns - Rosetower Wood to clear the entrance, then complete its Sightseeing follow-up.
Enter the tower with Awen. Climb the ladder and read the rose research notes. Cubbo can move the iron crate against the wall as a shortcut.
Break the stones obstructing the second-floor gears with a suitable damaging move. Restoring the machinery creates an updraft and reveals a purple chest below.
Use a flying creature for the ascent. Check the chest on the upward route, the left-window chest and the right-platform chest before reaching the roof.
Take the rose nectar at the top, brew it at the nearby Dewy nest, then bring the resulting ingredient to Awen below.
The Sightseeing stage also supplies Stamen of Cubbo's Rose. Keep that evolution material separate from the tower's perfume ingredient.
Forest of Falling Stars: Peace of Mind
Follow The Performer Looks Anxious to Dael in front of Nest of Stars. Twine with Celestis to enter, then collect three Large Starines.
Large Starine | Route |
|---|---|
1 | Search the hollow log to the right of the front nests. |
2 | To the left of the nests, give Dum-Dum 10 ordinary Starines at the wall stone. |
3 | Climb the leafy wall behind the central tree. Jump toward the high stone and interact to knock it loose, then collect it from the ground. |
Offer the three Large Starines to the three nests near the center/front. After the scene, collect Treasured Large Starine and give it to Dael for Peace of Mind.
