This Warrior quest belongs to Beast Fang Ridge and begins with the clue The Inferlupa's Flying Head. It is separate from the Helmut and Helgon story.
Visit the Emberpup campfire at night and Twine with an Emberpup-family creature to speak to the pack. Follow the investigation and Inferlupa encounters, returning to the pack when the next stage becomes available.
The later stages wait for daily server resets. Advancing the game clock does not skip these waits; the full sequence spans three real calendar days.
Finishing the story unlocks the Inferlupa evolution branch. Afterwards, Mighty Flameruffs in Beast Fang Ridge provide Unbroken Flameruff Spirits for its evolution material requirement. The optional Fragrant Emberpup conversation also starts Fists I.

Three-day objective sequence
On the first night, speak to the campfire group while Twined with Emberpup or an evolution. Follow the clue east of Beast Fang Ridge to the leafless trees, duel Inferlupa and speak to it in the family form. Return to the camp.
After the next server reset, return at night for the Undefeated Warrior stage. Follow its objectives and return after another real reset.
On the third stage, speak to the camp group, collect Spirit Dust: Old Inferlupa, and duel the returning level 43 Inferlupa. Speak again after the encounter to finish.
The optional eavesdropper branches collect Spirit Dust: Inferlupa on the first day and Spirit Dust: Restrained Inferlupa on the second. These are quest records, separate from Unbroken Flameruff Spirits used in evolution.
For the optional Fists I lead, speak to Scared Emberpup in the family form, then find Fragrant Emberpup behind the nearby rock and receive Lewis's call.
