Content expansion (2026-04-13)
Ananta has not yet launched globally. This page includes details from official posts, developer interviews, hands-on previews, and the January 2026 Closed Beta Test as of April 2026. Cat Express is named in official materials but given little direct description beyond its role as a mission-giver.
Cat Express is one of the mission-giving organizations the player can take jobs from in Ananta. It was named by the official Ananta news feed on September 23, 2025, in the following line of the gameplay trailer post: "Carry out missions for varying organizations like the NCAA, DK9, Cat Express and more." That line is currently the only direct, official description of what Cat Express does.
Based on the official naming, Cat Express sits in Ananta's layer of civilian or private-sector mission-givers, next to DK9 and the NCAA-as-mission-giver. It does not appear to be a government agency like the A.C.D. or NCCA, but rather an outfit that issues individual jobs to the player.
The name, the feline branding, and the "Express" suffix point strongly at a courier or logistics identity, which dovetails with one of the four professional tracks the Tokyo Game Show 2025 press release singled out: "race through alleys as a delivery man." NetEase's own September 22, 2025 press release lists four Identity System professions: cop, hacker, delivery man, and live-streamer. Cat Express is the only named organization in the trailer materials that maps cleanly onto the delivery track.
The gameplay framing in the official trailer post distinguishes between "your reputation" and the strength of your team, which positions groups like Cat Express as clients rather than permanent homes for any one playable character. The player picks up work from Cat Express the same way they might pick up work from DK9 or the NCAA, builds reputation, and moves on.
Within the fiction, the "Yeet Squad" Taffy founded is framed as a delivery operation inside the A.C.D., with Taffy hoping for "a few well-deserved perks once she racks up a million fans" per the official Fab character page. Cat Express and the Yeet Squad are both centered on moving packages through Nova City, so it is reasonable to expect their storylines to cross paths during the game.
Taffy is publicly associated with Cat Express while simultaneously being "a new investigator at the A.C.D." per her official Fandom bio. The Yeet Squad's rapid-deployment tactics leverage Cat Express's delivery network for speed-based operations.
Member | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Affiliate | Bunny-girl delivery character. Also a new investigator at the A.C.D. Founding member of the Yeet Squad. Rides a hammer that turns into a segway. |
Cat Express is listed in the same sentence as "the NCAA, DK9" on the official trailer post, which groups these three as the public face of Ananta's mission-giving organizations. The player can work for any combination of them. Cat Express also has a soft tie to the A.C.D. through Taffy, who fronts both the A.C.D. investigator side and the delivery/Yeet Squad side of her dual identity.
No direct relationship has been stated between Cat Express and the D.P.A., Shorewater Industries, or Eonbug.
The "Cat" in Cat Express has not been tied to an official logo in public materials so far. The NetEase Games September 2025 press release and the September 23, 2025 gameplay trailer post both mention Cat Express by name without showing a branded vehicle or storefront on camera. Any visual identity for the faction will be documented on this page once it is shown officially.
