Fain Solas, the Divine Chakram of Basil, is the fourth obtainable Divine weapons in Alabaster Dawn's launch build. It is a ranged weapon dealing Slashing damage, with slower projectiles that return to Juno after being thrown. Fain Solas has a shorter effective range than the crossbow, but it has unique catching and redirecting abilities that make it the preferred weapon in several puzzle scenarios.

More like chak-Damn! It's fine.
"A chakram to sever enmity and pave the way to progress."
Fain Solas is found at Koro Valley - Hollow Incline during the A Sneak Peak Chronicle stretch. Picking it up is one of the climactic beats of Unyielding Solidarity: after a timeskip, Juno climbs Silver Peak and finds the chakram en route, then uses it to manipulate a Nyx orb at the summit.
The basic chakram attack throws a projectile that travels in a straight line and curves back to Juno on the return. Default range without a target is short, but aiming at an enemy extends the throw considerably. The chakram has limited collision response, allowing it to bump around small obstacles to reach targets out of Juno's direct line of sight.
Fain Solas has a unique interaction with small objects, currently used only with Nyx Lumps from the puzzle entities set. Pressing the attack key while targeting an object with the shoot input causes the chakram to pick up the object and stay in place attached to it. From that anchored position, Juno can shoot the chakram again, moving the carried object along the throw path. The mechanic is used for two distinct puzzle reasons:
Carrying objects to spots they cannot reach by being knocked along the ground.
Repositioning the chakram itself to a vantage where it has line of sight to a switch or target Juno does not.
Several Combat Arts are unlockable in the Growth Chart. Fain Solas's arts emphasize area effects, redirected throws, and the same returning-projectile geometry as the basic attack. Specific Combat Art names and effects are tuned by the developer through patches; refer to the in-game Growth Chart for the up-to-date list.
Like other launch-build weapons, Fain Solas has Minor Gem Slot nodes available in the Growth Chart. They do nothing yet because no minor weapon gems are obtainable. The slots will become useful when crafting minor gems is implemented.
