33 Treasure Maps are Legendary-tier misc items that mark the location of hidden chests placed across the archipelago before the current troubles. Reading one reveals a pin on the player's world map; sailing to the marked island and digging at the indicated spot rewards the chest's contents.

2020 Maps do not expire. A player can hold the full nine-map set indefinitely and cash them in on one dedicated voyage.Chest contents are fixed per map, not random. If the spoiler tables are consulted, low-value maps can be sold to smugglers instead of cashed in.Bring a shovel or the appropriate digging tool. The dig spot will not yield the chest otherwise.
