11Torn Boots is the Common feet piece of the Common starter outfit in Windrose. It is the default starter garment equipped after the prologue shipwreck and is not crafted. Every character begins the game wearing the full Torn outfit in this slot.223344Overview5566Rarity: CommonSlot: FeetSet: Standalone (no set bonus)Item Level: ilvl 17788In-Game Description991010"These rags were once fine clothes."11111212Defense1313141490 DEF at Item Level 1. Keep in mind the Common tier has no set bonus and minimal upgrade headroom at the Upgrading Station. The torn state of the starter outfit is the game's visual shorthand for the protagonist's opening circumstances: a freelance courier whose ship and crew were lost in Blackbeard's ambush during the prologue, leaving the player washed up on the Islander Quest starting island in reduced dress.Replace it as soon as the first Uncommon piece can be crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop: typically a Survivor's Set piece. Disassembling the Torn piece at the Disassembly Table returns nothing meaningful, so vendors or stashes are the usual disposal route.30303131See Also32323333Armor and Equipment: Windrose armor system, slots, and rarity tiersArmor and Clothing Workshop: crafting station for every armor piece34343535Game Data36363737Properties38383939PropertyValueWeight1.04040Disassembles Into41414242MaterialQuantityCoarse Fabric×24343Breaking the piece down at the Disassembly Table returns only 2 Coarse Fabric, the same low-value salvage as the rest of the Torn outfit, so most players sell or stash it rather than scrap it.
