Stargazer Tower is an ancient observatory point-of-interest located in the Cursed Swamps. It is one of three observatories across the world that are tied to the Fate of the Prophets quest; each observatory holds a constellation puzzle and rewards Tumbaga Ingot on completion. The Stargazer Tower is the primary named observatory and appears on the world map marker.

Access

Stargazer Tower stands inside the Cursed Swamps, a mid-to-late biome, so come prepared for the local undead and plague enemies that roam the marsh rather than expecting an early-game stroll. The tower is a named map marker, which makes it the easiest of the three observatories to find. The puzzle at its base is open to interact with on arrival; no key or quest step gates the dials themselves, although the 10 Tumbaga completion bonus only pays out once all three observatories are solved as part of Fate of the Prophets.

The Puzzle

At the base of the tower, two rotating stone dials control constellation symbols. The puzzle solution requires matching the dials to the reference constellations engraved or illustrated nearby. Each of the three observatories uses a different constellation arrangement; the Stargazer Tower solution does not carry over to the other two towers.

How to Solve

1. Look for the reference constellation shown on the surrounding markers (paintings, tablets, or ambient carvings) before touching the dials.

2. Rotate each of the two stone dials so its constellation symbol matches the reference.

3. If you cannot find the reference, the puzzle can be brute-forced by cycling through the dial positions until it locks.

4. Repeat at the other two observatories, each with its own arrangement, to finish the chain.

The three-tower total makes this one of the largest non-combat reward chains in the launch build.

Rewards

Each observatory awards 3 Tumbaga Ingots on first-time completion, and the Fate of the Prophets quest adds a 10 Tumbaga bonus when all three observatories are solved, for 19 Tumbaga Ingot across the full chain. That total is meaningful because Tumbaga Ingots are the primary Rare-to-Epic ascension material for weapons and armor, so clearing all three towers funds several gear upgrades at once.
