Prebuilt Structures is full building blueprints that place in one click. Windrose currently ships with 3 prebuilt structures: Hut, Hut Frame, and Large Pier.
Blueprint | What It Places | Cost |
|---|---|---|
Hut | A complete one-room leaf-and-stick shelter with a roof, walls, door, and floor. | Wood x20, Plant Fiber x30 (approximate) |
Hut Frame | The structural skeleton of a hut (floor, pillars, and roof only). Saves time when you want to customize the walls. | Wood x15 (approximate) |
Large Pier | A full pier layout extending several tiles over water with pier piles, pier flooring, and a pier cap. | Wood x30 (approximate) |
Blueprints are convenient for first-time settlement builders and for players who prefer to skip the piece-by-piece layout phase. A Hut gives a complete shelter that satisfies the roof requirement for stations, and the Large Pier saves the tedious process of stepping pier pieces out over water.
Experienced builders often prefer manual placement because the blueprint's layout is fixed and cannot be adjusted before placing. Once placed, you can demolish individual pieces and rebuild anywhere you want, but the blueprint itself re-rolls every piece at once when deployed.
Use Hut as an emergency shelter on any island. Its one-click placement is faster than building piece-by-piece and refunds full materials if you demolish.
Hut Frame is the better option if you plan to replace the walls with higher-tier material. You keep the floor, pillars, and roof at low cost and swap only the walls.
Large Pier saves roughly 10-15 separate Pier + Floor placements, which is the main pain point of pier construction. Highly recommended for waterside outposts.
Blueprints use the cheapest material tier available. Upgrading piece-by-piece after placement is common.
Blueprints still require the Bonfire range check if the enclosed area is meant to hold craft stations.
