Decoration: Wrought Iron Chandeliers is a recipe paper in Windrose. Reading it from the inventory permanently adds five wrought iron lighting pieces to the build menu, so a single paper is consumed but the recipes it teaches stay learned for that character. The pieces it unlocks are decorative hanging lights built from wood and metal, intended to brighten halls, taverns, and other large indoor spaces. They belong to the Spanish Caribbean building set, the ornate stone-and-iron architecture style associated with Port Royal.
Like other light sources in the game, the chandeliers and the Hanging Lamp raise the comfort rating of a room and only give light while inside the range of a lit bonfire. Use them to finish out a furnished tavern or manor interior once the structure and a bonfire are already in place.
This paper teaches the following five build pieces. Each is then crafted in the build menu, not at a workstation, and slots into the Spanish Caribbean set:
Recipe | Role |
|---|---|
Largest tier, a noble centerpiece light for grand halls. | |
Mid-size hanging light for everyday rooms. Built from 10 Iron Ingot and 4 Tar. | |
Compact chandelier for tighter interiors. | |
A length of wrought iron chain used to hang a lamp from a high ceiling. | |
A single wall or ceiling lamp, the simplest light in the set. |
Recipe papers are not crafted. This one is found as loot at points of interest out in the world and can also turn up on faction merchants who stock building plans. Once you read it, the five recipes are unlocked permanently and the paper itself is gone. The item stacks up to 20 in the inventory, so spare copies can be carried or traded until used.
