Corn Sapling is a Seedbed-only farming plant in Windrose. Once mature it can be harvested for Corn and Corn Seeds.

Planting

Corn requires a Seedbed stocked with Foothills-tier Fertile Soil, which is a step above the basic Coastal Jungle soil. Each Seedbed section accepts up to four corn saplings, one per corner.

Growth and Harvest

Plants in Windrose take roughly 70 minutes of real time to grow to full size, with growth continuing while the player is offline. Press E on a mature plant to harvest the corn plus a fresh seed.

Notes

Corn is a versatile mid-tier cooking ingredient used in stews, breads, and travel rations. The crop is also part of several cocktail and alcohol distillation recipes at Alchemy stations.

Where to Find Saplings

Drops from harvesting wild corn plants in the Foothills. There is no vendor that sells corn seeds, so the first stack has to be foraged.
