11Bull's Eye is a Tier 1 talent in the Marksman branch of the Windrose Talent System. It adds bonus damage to positional hits on an enemy's critical spot (a headshot or equivalent weak point). This is a separate system from the rolled Critical Hit Chance governed by the Mastery stat: positional crit and rolled crit are independent and can land on the same shot.2233Summary4455PropertyValueBranchMarksmanTier1Max rank3Points per rank1TriggerHit on a critical spot (weak point)66Effect by Rank7788RankHeadshot (critical spot) damageRank 1+5%Rank 2+12.5%Rank 3+20%99Positional Crit vs Rolled Crit10101111Windrose has two distinct ways to deal extra damage with a shot. A positional critical comes from landing the projectile on the enemy's weak point and is fully under the player's control through aim. A rolled critical is a random chance per hit, raised 0.5% for every point invested in Mastery. Bull's Eye scales only the positional kind, so its value depends on accuracy rather than luck. Because the two are calculated separately, a single well-aimed shot can be both a positional headshot and a rolled critical at once, stacking both bonuses.12121313Community Meta14141515Treated as mandatory for every Marksman build. On skilled play where most shots land on the weak point, a flat +20% to those hits is one of the strongest single-rank investments in the branch, and it is cheap at Tier 1.16161717Pairs Well With18181919Sniper's Focus, the bonuses stack on a single fully aimed shot.Firearm Training, a flat ranged-damage base that compounds with the headshot bonus.Extended Reach, lets the player line up clean weak-point shots from farther away.Investing in Mastery, so that aimed headshots also have a high chance to roll a critical on top.20202121Build Role22222323Bull's Eye rewards accurate play. The bonus applies only to positional weak-point hits, not to the rolled Critical Hit Chance, so the talent pays out on skill rather than RNG. It is one of the first points most ranged builds spend.24242525Math Example26262727A Musket headshot that would deal 580 damage becomes 696 at rank 3 Bull's Eye (+20%). This applies on top of any weapon's native weak-point multiplier, so the total uplift on a clean headshot is large. Land that same shot inside a 4-stack Sniper's Focus window and the two bonuses stack, +28% from Focus and +20% from Bull's Eye, before any rolled critical is considered.28282929Notes30303131Works on every ranged weapon: Pistol, Musket, and Blunderbuss. A Blunderbuss headshot requires the central pellet to land on the weak point for the multiplier. The bonus is positional only. A body shot, even one that rolls a Mastery-based critical, does not gain the Bull's Eye damage.Points can be moved at any time through a free respec if a build shifts away from ranged combat.32323333See Also34343535Marksman Talents, the ranged branch overview.Talent System, the four-branch progression framework.Stats and Talents, stat allocation and respec.Mastery, the stat that governs rolled critical chance.
