The Tempered finish is the upgraded grade of the 12-pounder, available at Rare and Epic rarity, and is forged at the Shipwright's Workshop once you have learned its plan.

Crafting consumes Copper Ingot and Wooden Plank, and the gun can later be ascended with Tumbaga Ingot for higher rarity. It can be mounted on every Ketch, Brig, and Frigate hull, including the Brethren and Blackbeard variants, as listed below.
