Revision 1

Crafting in Wild Wild Eden turns gathered wood, stone and plants into tools, gear, weapons and building materials. Recipes have to be unlocked, and tamed creatures can be assigned to processing stations to run the camp.

Gathering

The Steam store's gathering blurb reads: "Harvest wood and stone to secure essential survival resources." It suggests bringing the right companions along "to maximize your efficiency". An early quest in the store screenshots reads "Harvest bush with [E] to gather food and crafting materials." Its targets are Berries and Twine, and the reward is Chlomira Seed x 3.

Crafting Gear and Weapons

According to the store page, gathered resources are used to "forge advanced gear and weapons essential for survival." The HUD lists a Crafting menu on the O key and a Recipe List on the P key. The inventory screenshot shows a sword and shield, a bow, a pickaxe, a hammer-like tool and a torch on the hotbar.

Recipes and Unlocks

Recipes are not all available from the start. A quest in the store screenshots reads: "Use the Crafting Table to craft the Processed Stone from Stone (Requires recipe unlock [P])". It asks for five Processed Stone and rewards Chlomira x 10. What Chlomira is used for has not been explained as of October 2026.

A hands-on report from the 2026 demos describes the unlock loop: gathering and defeating enemies earns experience, levelling up gives craft points, and craft points unlock recipes. See Player Stats.

Processing Stations

The store page says players can "Assign your creatures to processing stations, channeling their unique abilities to power your entire camp's infrastructure." Reports from the gamescom 2026 demo gave one example: a fire slime can go into a kiln to act as fuel. A store screenshot shows a furnace topped with a green, slime-like dome next to a house. See Aidons.

Early Tools

Event demo reports describe the first tasks after leaving the starting cave as making an axe and a pickaxe, then a workbench and a campfire.

Item Names Seen So Far

All of these names come from store screenshots of a pre-release development build. See Building for construction and Farming for fertilizer.
