Warhammer Survivors has an arsenal of more than 75 weapons drawn from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. Each champion starts with a unique weapon, and more are added and levelled up during a run. Most weapons belong to one universe, but a few are cross-universe and can be used by champions from either side.
How Evolution Works
Weapons can be mixed and matched with power-ups and evolved into devastating new forms. Some evolutions do more than upgrade the weapon: they summon a named champion to fight alongside you. The developer has said some weapons aim automatically and others do not by design, and in July 2026 said this was not something it was looking to change after feedback on the first Demo.

Fyrestorm Greataxe and Zangrom-Thaz
The Fyrestorm Greataxe got its own highlight video in February 2026. It swings around the player in a brutal arc, getting faster and stronger and changing direction as the player moves, and only stops once it has dealt a set amount of damage. Standing still reduces the damage it deals, so it rewards constant movement.
Evolving it produces Zangrom-Thaz and summons Gotrek Gurnisson. Unlike the Greataxe, Zangrom-Thaz swings constantly whether you move or not, and it speeds up when you charge into enemies. One earlier post described Gotrek's axe as evolved from a Fyreslayer Axe; the later, more detailed post names the Fyrestorm Greataxe.
Power Fists and Gauntlets of Ultramar
Revealed in April 2026, the Power Fists crush xenos threats. Evolving them brings Marneus Calgar to your side wearing the Gauntlets of Ultramar, firing bolter rounds with every attack. If you are playing as Calgar, he does not summon a copy of himself.
Cross-Universe Weapons
The D6 Dice, revealed in April 2026, is a cross-universe weapon. Nuln Oil, a nod to the real Citadel paint, is another: it douses enemies in black wash and applies the Oiled status effect, which slows them and makes them vulnerable to fire. Auroch recommends pairing it with weapons that inflict Burning. The lead concept artist described these hobby-themed weapons as among the most fun parts of the project.
Weapons in the Demos
The first demo offered 7 weapons from each universe, including bolter fire, blades and cross-universe relics. The second demo, released October 6, 2026, added new weapons and abilities alongside two new champions.
