When does Warhammer Survivors come out?
November 10, 2026, on all platforms at once. See Release Date and Platforms.
What platforms is it on?
PC (Steam and GOG), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS and Android.
How much does it cost?
GBP 6.39, USD 7.99 or EUR 7.49, with small differences by platform and region. Console pre-orders are discounted on select platforms, and Steam has a 10% discount in launch week.
Is it on Xbox Game Pass?
As of October 15, 2026, Game Pass has not been announced and the Xbox Store listing does not show it as included.
Is there multiplayer or co-op?
No. At launch the game is single-player. Auroch Digital has said it would tell the community if multiplayer were added later.
Is it a Vampire Survivors DLC?
No. It is a standalone game built on the foundation of Vampire Survivors in partnership with poncle, but every character, stage, enemy, power-up and secret was made from scratch.
Who made it?
Auroch Digital, which both develops and publishes it, in partnership with Warhammer and poncle.
Is there a demo?
Yes. A free Steam demo released on October 6, 2026 features the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya. It replaced the first demo from May 2026. Demo progress does not carry over to the full game. See Demo.
How many characters are there?
Over 40 champions across the two universes. Eleven have been named in official text so far; see Characters.
Can Warhammer 40,000 characters fight in Age of Sigmar?
No. Each universe has its own champions, weapons, enemies, stages and progression tree. Some weapons, such as the D6 Dice and Nuln Oil, are shared across both.
What enemy factions are in the game?
Six: Tyranids, Orks and Death Guard for Warhammer 40,000, and Skaven, Blades of Khorne and Gloomspite Gitz for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. See Enemy Factions.
What are Extremis Bosses?
The hardest boss fights. Each enemy faction has one; Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka and the Great Unclean One have been named. See Bosses.
How many weapons are there?
More than 75. Weapons can evolve into stronger forms when paired with power-ups. See Weapons and Evolutions.
What game modes are there?
The store page promises multiple modes, but as of October 15, 2026 they have not been named.
Does progress carry between runs?
Yes. Gold earned in runs buys permanent upgrades, and paint pots unlock character forms and secrets. See Progression and Unlocks.
Will it run on my PC?
The minimum is Windows 10 64-bit, a 2.4 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, a GTX 750 or equivalent and 5 GB of storage. See System Requirements.
