Appearance
Each playable character can be customized through a detailed appearance editor. Options cover hair style and color, eye color (iris), facial markings, makeup, moles, scars, and skin tone. Skin shine levels can be adjusted independently of skin tone, and multiple types of facial markings can be layered on the same character.
Customization is per-character, your Lann and your Fiona can look entirely different. Changes are made through the Boutique in Colhen, run by Clodagh. Appearance settings also apply to that character's follower version: the customization is shared between the playable and companion roles.
Physique
Body shape customization is separate from facial appearance. Adjustable parameters include height, muscle definition, head size, neck size, chest size, waist size, breast size, hip width, arm thickness, thigh thickness, and calf thickness. The sliders provide a wide range, from realistic proportions to more exaggerated builds.

Outfits
The outfit system is mix-and-match with separate slots for head, top, bottom, shoes, and gloves. Pieces from different sets can be combined freely. The Fitting Room at the Boutique previews outfits before committing to changes.
Dye system
Outfits support a dye system for changing the color of individual pieces. Each purchased appearance item comes with one free dye preset. Dye presets persist even if the item is discarded, and configurations can be saved and loaded as reusable presets. This means you can experiment with colors without worrying about losing a combination you liked.
Weapon skins
Weapons have their own cosmetic slot. Weapon skins change visual appearance without affecting stats, so players can keep their preferred look while upgrading to mechanically stronger weapons through the crafting system. Weapons are managed through the Fitting Room rather than the inventory.
Gestures and emotes
Players can equip and use gestures (emotes) for social interaction, particularly in multiplayer lobbies and during photo mode sessions.
Photo mode
A dedicated photo mode allows real-time screenshot capture with camera control, zoom, UI hiding, and emote triggering. See the photo mode article for full details.
