The Codex provides unlockable rewards. In the February 11, 2026 test, Challenges granted Legacy and Marks that could be spent to claim rewards there.

For the February 11, 2026 test, unlocked rewards and unspent Legacy and Marks were promised to carry over between tests and after launch. Codex rewards were intended to offer alternatives rather than inherently stronger choices.
October additions
The October update adds perks, abilities, cosmetics, and Chromas to the Codex. Quests gain additional Legacy rewards, and Challenge rewards are updated.
