1919 In Arthurian legend, Sir Lamorak de Gales was the son of King Pellinore and one of the strongest knights at the Round Table. Some sources rank him as the third-strongest knight after Lancelot and Tristram. He had a bitter rivalry with the Orkney brothers (Gawain, Agravain, Gaheris, and Gareth) because Pellinore had killed their father, King Lot. Lamorak was eventually murdered through treachery by the Orkney brothers rather than defeated in fair combat. The game picks up on his legendary strength by making him one of the most prominent spectral knight allies.
