Overview

Wang Ye is a Tai Chi practitioner whose movement leans on parkour. He was one of the three starting fighters in the February 2025 playtest, alongside Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao, and is one of the six confirmed fighters on the Characters hub.

Combat Style

His moveset is described as flexible, with options that cover both crowd control and big single-target damage, so he can adapt to different situations rather than committing to one role. His attacks run through the shared Combat System of basic attacks, skills, blocks, and dodges, with his parkour mobility folded into how he moves around opponents.

Story Role

Wang Ye is positioned as a story protagonist. In a showcased demo arc, he sets out to protect his village and challenges its leader, a confrontation that doubles as a boss encounter in that build. This is best read as the framing of that demo rather than the whole game's plot, since the Story Mode campaign covers multiple perspectives and has not been shown in full.
