Ru Hua is one of the confirmed fighters in The Hidden Ones, and the only entry on the roster that the developer has published two separate fighter guides for.

Overview

The developer's own fighter guides describe Ru Hua as a mechanical puppet created by Ma Xianhong using the Mechanism. Earlier hands-on previews described the character as an intense puppet figure with large lifeless eyes and a mastery of pointy weapons, which matches that construction but predates the developer's own wording. Ru Hua is listed among the confirmed fighters on the Characters hub.

Combat Style

Two Variants

Rather than one guide, Ru Hua has two, each covering a differently armed build of the same puppet. They are the clearest published example of how far two versions of a single fighter can diverge.

Neither guide explains whether the two are selected separately, swapped through a loadout, or counted as one roster slot, so the roster total on Characters treats them as a single entry with two published builds.

Both builds run through the shared Combat System that every fighter uses, built on basic attacks, skills, blocks, and dodges. The Blazemaster build is the one the developer explicitly frames around holding distance, which is a notable outlier on a roster otherwise introduced through close-quarters martial arts. Exact movesets, weapon lists, and any numbers behind them have not been published.
