Lu Linglong is one of the confirmed fighters in The Hidden Ones. She is one of two announced fighters from the same family line, and the developer introduced her through its own per-fighter gameplay guide series published ahead of the first pre-alpha test.

Overview

The developer describes Lu Linglong as proficient in the Eight Trigrams Palm and as the great-granddaughter of Lu Jin, one of the Ten Masters. Her introduction pairs a lovely appearance with a strong and tenacious character, a contrast the guide leans on deliberately.

Combat Style

The Eight Trigrams Palm is one of the few named techniques the developer has attached to a specific fighter, which makes her a useful example of how the roster's styles are meant to differ. The trigrams themselves are one of the classical frameworks the game builds its world on, covered on World and Setting, and the same idea sits behind the framing of The Eight Secret Arts.

Underneath that flavor she uses the same foundation as everyone else: the Combat System built on basic attacks, skills, blocks, and dodges, read through color-coded attack tells.

Her signature abilities, her campaign role, and whether the family connection to Lu Jin carries any in-game mechanic have not been described.
