Added a caution while preparing the Mystic Seal finishing blow
11The Adventures of Elliot has three endings with different preparation and battle requirements. This guide includes ending names, late-story events and the quests that can expire as the story advances.22Ending order and saves44For a run collecting all ending achievements, use the order Bad, Good, then True. Keep an earlier save while the objective still directs Elliot to the Sorcerer's location. That backup gives a way to return to the earlier route even after progressing further.66The Bad and Good endings provide continuation saves for further route progress. True-ending data also supports continuing: loading it returns to the entrance of Mount Phoenix before the final sequence. It additionally unlocks optional New Game Plus. Reaching the True ending does not require immediately starting a new run.88EndingRouteMain distinctionAs Long as Any Hope RemainsBadDefeat the Beast of Enmity without the required Mystic Seal finishing blow. The Peace in Which We WalkGoodComplete the preparations, then finish the Beast of Enmity with Leytstaf's level-4 charged Mystic Seal.At the Thousand-Year Journey's EndTrueComplete the additional Amber Pendant route and the battles beyond it.1010Leytstaf and the Good-ending preparations1111Leytstaf is in the Water Ruins during the Age of Reconstruction. Diving is required to reach its route behind a blue locked door. On Sublevel Two, cross beyond the central pool toward the northern room and open the red chest. The Holy Sword blessing enables the Mystic Seal preparations.1313Continue the character-story events across the ages. The order below leaves the Age of Safekeeping until last, which also prepares access to Heuria's room for the later route.1515AgeStops to completeAge of BuddingVisit Lyudmila's House and Dragonpillar, then complete the Grandtree boss events.Age of MagicGo to Mao's House, obtain Mao's Pendant and follow the Northern Tower scenes. During the Beast of Enmity fight, reduce its remaining health, then charge Leytstaf to the level-4 Mystic Seal and use that attack for the finishing blow. Owning the sword and writings alone does not select the Good ending; an ordinary final hit still leads to the Bad ending.20+The three writings enable Mystic Seal. It halves damage from the Beast of Enmity. Equip it and return to the Northern Tower; Faie speaking about Mao signals the route.2525During the Beast of Enmity encounter, perform repeated perfect guards until the sequence advances. Continue the route beyond that encounter. The later final battle is covered in Demise the Destroyer.2727Quest expiry and the Mount Phoenix warnings2929Check the quest menu for the label "Soon to be unavailable". After the Tracing Needle chest at Mount Phoenix, a warning says that certain quests will soon become unavailable. Return to the affected clients before continuing.3131The later summit warning offers "Ready at any time!", "Let me prepare first." and "Return to town for now". Use a preparation or return option when requests or equipment still need attention.3333The requests below are the ones to watch for expiry. Their starting ages do not necessarily match the ages visited during their routes; see Side Quests for the client and travel steps.3535One Lady's RequestThe Principles of the Formanit InstituteA Promise FulfilledFragrance of Things PastDo Thaumata Dream of Elder Trees?A Far-Off DreamThe Sending Flame RiteCalotesia's History LessonIn Search of the Right Sound3737Quest expiry can affect Leave It To Me and A Reliable Adventurer.
