The Tusked Boar is a rare pig variant in Starsand Island described as a wild cousin with sharp tusks and a rugged temperament. Despite its fierce appearance, it functions the same as other pigs: it can hunt truffles and produce fertilizer. The Tusked Boar is obtained through breeding common pigs.

The Tusked Boar has a stocky, muscular build with coarse, bristly fur that gives it a distinctly wild look. Its most prominent feature is a pair of curved tusks protruding from the lower jaw. The overall coloring is darker and more earthy than the standard pink pig, leaning toward browns and grays. It looks noticeably more feral than its domesticated counterparts.
Breed two adult common Pigs (one male, one female) in a Pig Pen with an empty slot. Overnight breeding has a random chance of producing a Tusked Boar. The same pair can also produce a Spotted Pig or a Puffhog. Use the Selective Breeding House for targeted parent pairing.
