Mellowhen is an adoptable Capybara in Starsand Island. This gentle, laid-back creature can be found near Hopeland, the player's starting farm area. Mellowhen is one of the first wild animals you can befriend early in the game due to its convenient location.

To adopt Mellowhen, you need to raise your relationship with it to Affection Level 3. Visit Mellowhen regularly and feed it Pasture Grass, which is the cheapest and fastest-growing crop in the game (Beginner Farmer, 12 hours, 25 coins). Once you reach Level 3 affection, the Adopt option will appear. You must have a Pet House placed on your property before adopting.
Mellowhen's favorite food, Pasture Grass, is extremely cheap and fast to grow. Stock up early for easy taming.
You can find Mellowhen on the map by opening the Residents tab and searching for its icon.
A Pet House blueprint can be obtained for free from Stella at Woof and Wow Pets when you make your first purchase.
