Kissing Gourami is a fish species in Starsand Island. Lake fishing spots are found across the island, including Cloudrest Lake near Hopeland.

How to Catch

Equip Veggie Bait, Meat Bait and chum the water at a lake fishing spot during the catch window (10:00-00:00). Cast onto a visible fish shadow and reel in when the line is taut. Watch the line color: yellow means Kissing Gourami is close to breaking free, red means it has escaped.

Pond Breeding

Kissing Gourami requires 3 oxygen units of pond capacity. The Small Fish Pond and Stone Fish Pond hold 12 oxygen each, and the Medium Fish Pond holds 40. Plan stocking carefully to avoid exceeding capacity.

Tips

• Sell vs cook vs pond. At 140g, Kissing Gourami can be sold raw, processed into Fish Fillet at the Separator, or stocked in a pond for breeding.

• Track time and weather. Open the Phone Apps to check weather forecasts. Some fish only spawn under specific conditions, and missing the window means waiting for the next cycle.
