The Ink Horse has a surreal, ink-washed aesthetic. Its body appears painted in flowing black and gray tones, as if it stepped out of a traditional East Asian ink brush painting. Ink Horse produces Fur (soft yet resilient), Horse Dew, and Poop (fertilizer). Products are identical across all horse variants. Horse Dew is a unique byproduct exclusive to the horse species.
Ink Horse is obtained exclusively through breeding. Pair two horses in the same Stable or Selective Breeding House with an empty slot. As the Super Rare variant (Horse99), the breeding probability is extremely low. Breeding guides suggest purchasing 15 to 20 horses to build a diverse gene pool, using three or more breeding slots simultaneously, and filtering out horses with negative DNA traits.
Players working toward the Ink Horse may encounter the Rare White Horse or Black Horse along the way. These are intermediate results that confirm the breeding pool is producing variant offspring.
Horses unlock at the Senior Rancher rank. The White Horse is required for the Expert Rancher certification, so you will likely be breeding horses extensively anyway.
