Glazed Duck is a Super Rare Duck variant in Starsand Island. Its feathers shimmer like glass, giving it an almost translucent, glazed appearance. The Glazed Duck is the rarest duck variant and provides significantly enhanced snail control compared to standard ducks, making it the best choice for protecting rice paddy fields.

How to Obtain | Breeding at the Selective Breeding House |
Housing | Duck Coop |
Snail Control | Up to 15 snails per day |
Products | Eggs, Giant Eggs (when happy), Feathers, Poop |
The Glazed Duck has feathers that look like polished glass or glaze. The surface of its plumage appears to reflect light in a way that common ducks cannot match, creating a visually striking sheen. This glazed effect covers the entire body, making it immediately distinguishable in the coop.
The Glazed Duck can clear up to 15 snails per day from nearby rice fields. This is three times the rate of common, White Duck, and Jade Duck variants, which each clear only 5 snails per day. A single Glazed Duck does the work of three regular ducks, making it extremely valuable for large rice farming operations.

Glazed Duck produces Eggs, Feathers, and Poop (fertilizer). When happiness is high, ducks can also produce Giant Eggs, which are worth more for cooking and selling. Products are identical across all duck variants.
Glazed Duck is obtained exclusively through breeding. Pair a male and female duck in the same Duck Coop or Selective Breeding House with an empty slot. As the Super Rare variant (Duck99), the breeding probability is the lowest among ducks. Expect many breeding cycles before one appears.
Ducks unlock at the Junior Rancher rank (300 coins for the common variant), so you can start breeding early.
Place the Duck Coop adjacent to your rice paddy fields for automatic snail removal. The Glazed Duck's 15-snail capacity makes a massive difference for rice yields.
A single Glazed Duck replaces three regular ducks for snail control, freeing up coop space for other animals.
Breed two Rare ducks (White Duck or Jade Duck) together to increase the odds of producing the Super Rare Glazed Duck.
