How to Catch

Equip Bug Bait and chum the water at a ocean fishing spot during the catch window (12:00-02:00). Cast onto a visible fish shadow and reel in when the line is taut. Watch the line color: yellow means Foureye Butterflyfish is close to breaking free, red means it has escaped.

Pond Breeding

Foureye Butterflyfish requires 3 oxygen units of pond capacity. The Small Fish Pond and Stone Fish Pond hold 12 oxygen each, and the Medium Fish Pond holds 40. Plan stocking carefully to avoid exceeding capacity.
