How to Obtain | Breeding two common Horses |
The Black Horse is entirely jet-black from mane to tail, with a glossy, well-groomed coat that gives it a sleek, mysterious quality. Its build is lean and athletic, well-suited for running across the island. The dark coloring makes it one of the more striking mounts available, especially when contrasted against the bright island scenery.
Breed two adult common Horses (one male, one female) in a Stable with an empty slot. As with all rare variants, the parents must be fed, clean, and happy. Overnight breeding has a random chance of producing a Black Horse instead of a common foal. Using the Selective Breeding House provides more control over which pair breeds together.
Parent Pair | Possible Offspring | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Common Horse + Common Horse | Black Horse, White Horse, or Common Horse | Random chance for rare variant |
Horses are the only animals in the game that support duo riding, letting two players share the same mount. To ride the Black Horse, it must be fully grown and equipped with a Friendship Collar (available at the Senior Rancher rank). The horse's running speed makes it one of the fastest land mounts, well-suited for covering long distances quickly.
Horse (Common): The standard brown horse, available from the Ranch.
White Horse (Rare): Snow-white coat, symbolizing purity.
Ink Horse (Super Rare): Looks like it stepped out of an ink wash painting.
Horses become available at the Intermediate Rancher rank.
All horse variants have the same riding speed and duo-ride capability. The difference is purely cosmetic.
If you are aiming for the Super Rare Ink Horse, keep breeding rare variants together for the best odds.
