Added Coil upgrades tracking and the Resonating Strike ability
11The Infinite Coil is the central threat in STAR WARS Zero Company, a Separatist-aligned paramilitary cult. Stopping the Coil, and its leader Kundri Fathom, is the operation Zero Company is hired to carry out.2233Bit Reactor's narrative director has described the Coil's goal directly: it intends to spread a deadly shadow plague across the galaxy. That is the threat the company is hired to stop, and it is what turns a sequence of paid jobs into one escalating campaign.4455A Cult at War667788The Coil fights alongside the Confederacy of Independent Systems but pursues its own dark agenda. It fields its own shock troops, called Strikers, who fight beside the Separatist droid armies you face across the campaign. As a galaxy-threatening force, the Coil is what raises the war beneath the war from a series of jobs into a single escalating operation.991010Named Figures11111212FigureRoleKundri FathomThe cult's enigmatic leader and the campaign's main antagonistVisserA senior Coil figure and one of its lead fightersTyphonA super tactical droid that coordinates Coil and Separatist forcesStrikersThe cult's rank-and-file shock troops1313A Growing Danger14141515Like the other enemy factions, the Coil grows stronger over time. Through the Den cycle system, leaving the enemy unchecked lets it gain new upgrades each cycle, so the Coil is a moving target that the company races to bring down. One thread tied to the cult is its seizure of Luunata, the world once ruled by Jae Mordant.161617+Those upgrades are tracked openly. The holotable lists which Coil upgrades are active against the company at any moment, and missions exist to destroy one before it is rolled out across the organisation. Resonating Strike is one such upgrade: it grants a Striker a charge of Resonance whenever its melee attacks land.18+1719In Star Wars Lore18201921Cults and splinter movements appear throughout Star Wars storytelling, but the Infinite Coil is original to this game. Anything the game does not show on screen is not confirmed as part of Zero Company's own telling.20222123Voices of the Coil22242325Three of the Coil's named figures were cast in the July 2026 reveal. Rekha Sharma voices Kundri Fathom, Dylan Kenin voices Visser, and Hunter Smith voices Typhon. See Voice Cast for the full roster.24262527In Combat26282729Infinite Coil units bring a spread of abilities to a fight rather than raw numbers, which makes target priority the problem they set: you have to decide who dies and in what order rather than simply working down the nearest threats. That separates them from the droid armies of the Separatist Alliance, which fall to Ion weapons, and from Outlaw bands that try to swamp a position. See Factions and Enemies for the comparison.
