The cast of SILENT HILL: Townfall was announced on August 25, 2026, alongside a Cast Reveal Trailer shown during a summer showcase. Three roles were confirmed, one for each of the game's principal characters, and the same reveal was the first time the third of them had been named at all. A Japanese voice cast for the same three roles followed on September 3, 2026.
Role | Actor | Japanese Voice | Selected Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
Jovan Adepo | Hiroki Yasumoto (安元洋貴) | 3 Body Problem, IT: Welcome to Derry, The Odyssey | |
Kezia Burrows | Yuhko Kaida (甲斐田裕子) | Observation | |
Terry O'Quinn | Akio Otsuka (大塚明夫) | Lost, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live |
The credits in the table are the ones the publisher listed with the announcement rather than a full filmography for any of the three. First-party material gives the second role simply as Zoe; the surname Ellis is legible in the game itself. Observation is Screen Burn's own earlier game, which makes Kezia Burrows the only one of the three whose listed credit points back to the studio.
The three Japanese voice roles were revealed on September 3, 2026 during KONAMI PRESS START, a Konami broadcast that gave the game a segment ahead of launch. Series producer Motoi Okamoto introduced new details there, video messages from the three announced cast members aired, and writer and director Jon McKellan spoke about the story and characters. Konami described the Japanese names as revealed for the first time.
The announcement itself gives the three names in Japanese. The romanisations in the table follow the spellings Konami uses in its own English material, which renders Zoe's performer as Yuhko Kaida.
Konami published a short comment from each of the three actors alongside the reveal.
Jovan Adepo, on Simon: "When you play this game, it's going to feel absolutely SILENT HILL. But for SILENT HILL: Townfall, it's going to feel like you're venturing down a road that you haven't before."
Kezia Burrows, on Zoe: "Zoe's character is deeply connected to Simon's journey, and more important than the player might think."
Terry O'Quinn, on Richard: "I'm aware that there's a very large and passionate following to SILENT HILL, and that initially piqued my interest. But what really pulled me in was the script."
The three announced roles map onto the shape of the game. Simon Ordell is the protagonist, and most of the game is seen and heard from his side; reviews of the released game report that Zoe and Richard each have playable sections of their own as well. Zoe is the voice that reaches him through static on the CRTV, asking him to come back to her. Richard is described in first-party copy as the man who summons Simon back to St. Amelia and sets the events of the game in motion. Two of the three, then, are introduced to the player as voices rather than as figures on screen.
Simon and Zoe had both been introduced earlier in 2026, Simon at the February reveal and Zoe at the June showcase where the release date was set. Richard arrived with the cast list. The Steam listing now carries five trailers, the Launch Trailer of September 21, 2026 among them.
The trailers themselves, including the cast reveal and the regional cuts each one ships in, are listed on Trailers and Media. Writer and director Jon McKellan spoke about the story and characters during the same September broadcast.
Three roles were announced before release, in English and in Japanese, and no supporting cast, additional named characters or motion capture performers were made public alongside them; as of September 27, 2026 no official surface has added any. Voice-over and motion capture were both recorded for the game, as covered on Development History, but both cast announcements covered voice roles only. The Japanese performances were heard in public for the first time during the Tokyo Game Show Special Stage on September 19, 2026, where a guest played the game in Japanese for about fifty minutes; see Events and Appearances. The game was released on September 24, 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5, and the Steam listing carries English and Japanese full audio. See Release Date and Platforms for the schedule.
