Overview

Vespiquen is a Bug/Flying-type Pokemon that can be befriended in Pokemon Pokopia. It possesses the unique Gather Honey specialty, which allows it to exchange honey for exclusive furniture items. Vespiquen works alongside Combee, which has the Litter specialty and periodically drops Honey as a material.

Gather Honey Specialty

The Gather Honey specialty is exclusive to Vespiquen. Once befriended, Vespiquen operates a small exchange where you can trade Honey for furniture items that are not available through regular crafting recipes or the Pokemon Center PC Shop. This makes Vespiquen a source of unique decorative items for your town.

The furniture selection available from Vespiquen rotates, so check back regularly to see what new items are on offer. Honey can be obtained from Combee (which drops it via the Litter specialty) or found during foraging and exploration.

Working with Combee

Combee has the Litter specialty, which means it periodically drops useful materials around your town. One of Combee's drops is Honey, the exact currency Vespiquen uses for furniture exchanges. Befriending both Combee and Vespiquen creates a self-sustaining loop: Combee produces Honey, and Vespiquen converts it into furniture.

How to Befriend

Create the appropriate habitat to attract Vespiquen. Check the Habitat Dex at the Pokemon Center PC for the specific habitat configuration. Vespiquen typically requires flower-heavy habitat setups consistent with its bee-like nature.

Tips

Befriend Combee first if possible, since it generates a steady Honey supply. Place both Combee and Vespiquen in the same area so you can easily collect Honey drops and trade them. Vespiquen's furniture items are cosmetic but can contribute to raising Comfort Levels when placed in Pokemon habitats.
