Overview

"Time to Party!" is the Important Request for the Rocky Ridges region in Pokemon Pokopia. DJ Rotom asks you to organize a celebration by raising the area's mood to 100, rescuing Chef Dente from a hanging barrel, and cooking a large batch of curry for the party. Completing this quest is required to rebuild the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center.

Prerequisites

• Access to Rocky Ridges (unlocked after completing the Withered Wasteland main quest (Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges unlock simultaneously))

• Learned Strength from Machoke

• Learned Cut from Scyther

• At least one Pokemon with the Burn specialty

Walkthrough

Step 1: Meet DJ Rotom

After arriving in Rocky Ridges and restoring the PC, DJ Rotom introduces itself and explains that the area needs a party to boost morale. Your first task is to raise the area's mood level to 100.

Step 2: Raise Mood to 100

Mood is primarily raised by placing decorative items in the area around DJ Rotom's location (near Chef Dente's large cooking pot). The game grades based on quantity, not aesthetics. Pile as many decorations as possible in the designated area. Effective items include:

• Magby statues and bunting (easy to craft)

• Any furniture or decorative items you have on hand

• Items from the PC Shop or crafting station

Talk to DJ Rotom to check the current mood level. Decorations can be removed after the quest is complete, so do not worry about messy placement.

Step 3: Rescue Chef Dente

Chef Dente (a Greedent wearing a pot as a chef's hat) is stuck in a hanging barrel in the Rocky Ridges area. Use upgraded Cut (powered up by eating Bread from the Bread Oven) to cut through the chain holding the barrel, then catch Chef Dente as it falls. Once rescued, Chef Dente teaches you how to cook and sets up the Party Cooking Pot for the celebration.

Step 4: Gather Curry Ingredients

Chef Dente needs a large batch of ingredients for the party curry. Gather the following:

Step 5: Recruit Helper Pokemon

You need at least 5 Pokemon helpers to assist with the party preparation. Befriend additional Pokemon in Rocky Ridges if you do not already have enough. Pokemon with the Build, Burn, and Gather specialties are especially useful for party setup.

Step 6: Cook the Party Curry

Bring all ingredients to the Party Cooking Pot and interact with it to begin cooking. Chef Dente orchestrates the cooking process. Follow the on-screen prompts to stir, add ingredients, and manage the heat. The curry cutscene plays once cooking is complete, and the party begins.

• Chef Dente joins your community (Party specialty, increases meal production)

• DJ Rotom joins your community (DJ specialty, plays CDs for background music)

• Unlocks cooking system fully

• Ability to rebuild the Rocky Ridges Pokemon Center

Tips

• Start farming Wheat and Beans as soon as you have access to Rototiller. Crops take time to grow, and having a Grow-specialty Pokemon nearby speeds this up.

• Decorations placed for the mood boost can all be picked up and reused elsewhere after the quest is complete. Do not craft expensive items just for this quest.

• Chef Dente's Party specialty is very valuable. Once befriended, it boosts the quantity of food produced when cooking, making meal preparation more efficient for the rest of the game.
