Created Stop the Water request article with full walkthrough
"Stop the Water" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia, given by Meowth in Bleak Beach. This is one of the earliest requests you receive when arriving at Bleak Beach. Meowth's shack is being flooded by water pouring in from behind the building, and he needs your help to block the gaps and stop the water from flowing inside.

When you first arrive at Bleak Beach, you will find Meowth near its partially submerged shack. Speak to Meowth to learn about the flooding problem. Water is pouring in through gaps behind the house, and Meowth asks you to place blocks to seal them off.
You need blocks to seal the gaps. If you do not have enough on hand, craft them at a workbench or pick up loose blocks scattered around the Bleak Beach area. Standard blocks made from Stone or Squishy Clay work fine for this purpose.
Walk around to the back of Meowth's shack and look for the gaps where water is flowing in. Place blocks in each gap to seal off the water. You may need to stack blocks at different heights to cover all the openings. Once every gap is sealed, the water inside the house will drain away.
Return to Meowth and speak to it. Meowth will thank you for fixing the flooding and reward you with the Resting Spot habitat hint, which you can use to build a comfortable resting area for Pokemon.
Resting Spot habitat hint: Unlocks the Resting Spot habitat recipe in your Habitat Dex. This habitat can be built to attract certain Pokemon that enjoy calm, dry environments.
This is one of the first requests available in Bleak Beach. Complete it early to unlock the Resting Spot habitat for additional Pokemon recruitment.
Gather extra blocks while you are at it. You will need blocks throughout Bleak Beach for various building projects, including bridge construction and the Pokemon Center rebuild.
After blocking the water, check inside Meowth's shack for any items that may have been hidden under the flooding.
