However, the more notable version of Snorlax is Mosslax, one of seven Special Pokemon in the game. Mosslax is a moss-covered Snorlax with a flower growing on its head that has the exclusive Eat specialty, providing powerful daily buffs when fed.

1414 According to its lore, Mosslax was originally an ordinary Snorlax that got into a fight with another Pokemon and lost. Frustrated, it decided to sleep off its bad mood. However, Mosslax ended up sleeping for so long that it slept through the entire environmental catastrophe that devastated the world. By the time it woke up, thick moss and a flower had grown on its body, giving it its distinctive appearance.
