11Overview2233Skiploom (Pokedex #002, Cottonweed Pokemon) is a Grass/Flying-type Pokemon available in Pokemon Pokopia through the More Spores for Hoppip Event (March 10-25, 2026). It is the middle evolution in the Hoppip line, between Hoppip and Jumpluff. Skiploom has the Grow specialty, accelerating plant growth in its vicinity.4455Pokedex Information6677FieldValuePokedex Number#002TypeGrass / FlyingClassificationCottonweed PokemonHeight2'00"Weight2.2 lbsSpecialtyGrowHabitat 1Yellow Carpet (Rare)Habitat 2Field-Trip Friends (Common)Ideal Environment TypeBrightFavorite FlavorDrySpawn TimesMorning, Day, Evening, NightWeatherSun, Cloud, Rain8899Preferences (Likes)10101111To raise Skiploom's comfort level, surround its habitat with items in these tag groups:12121313Soft stuff (cushions, plush items)Lots of nature (plants, flowers)Wind / gentle air currentsPretty flowers (floral decorations)Spinning objects (mobiles, fans)14141515How to Befriend Skiploom16161717Skiploom is event-exclusive. The Yellow Carpet habitat is more versatile (it attracts all three Hoppip-line Pokemon) but Skiploom is Rare in that setup.21212222Where to Find23232424Skiploom spawns in any region or Cloud Island when the appropriate event habitat is built. Setting your console's date to any day between March 9 and March 24, 2026 will activate the event regardless of the actual calendar date. This means Skiploom is not permanently missable. See the Limited-Time Events article for caveats.31313232Grow Specialty33333434Skiploom's Grow specialty accelerates plant and crop growth in its area. The Grow specialty is shared with several other Pokemon including Bulbasaur, Oddish, Bellsprout, Hoppip, and Jumpluff. Stacking multiple Grow Pokemon in the same area produces compounding speed increases for nearby crops and flowers.35353636Evolution Family37373838Hoppip (#001) - pre-evolution; Grow specialtySkiploom (#002) - this Pokemon; Grow specialtyJumpluff (#003) - post-evolution; Grow + Litter specialties393940+Update Notes41+42+Version 1.1.0 (June 9, 2026) fixed an issue where Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff could be unable to move through the air.43+4044Tips41454246Prioritize the Field-Trip Friends habitat for Skiploom. It is the only place where Skiploom spawns at Common rarity, making it the most reliable farming target.Buy the three habitat items (Flower Backpack, Lunch Box, Hoppip Water Bottle) early in the event. Each costs 5 Cotton Spores; total 15 Cotton Spores.Skiploom functions identically to other Grow Pokemon, so if you already have several Grow specialists, Skiploom adds incremental farming speed but is not essential for gameplay.Dry-flavored cooked food raises Skiploom's comfort level once it is in your settlement.
