Created Resort Meal Prep request article with full walkthrough
"Resort Meal Prep" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia, given by Torchic in Bleak Beach. Torchic asks you to create a cozy outdoor dining setup near a palm tree, complete with a Bonfire, a seat, and plated food. This creates the Resort Meal Prep habitat, which attracts Fire-type Pokemon like Growlithe and Combusken. The request is part of the Brighten Things Up progression, as the campfire adds bloom points to the area.

Plated Food (Wooden Plate with Leppa Berry) | 1 | Craft a Wooden Plate, then place a Leppa Berry on it |
Campfire (Bonfire) | 1 |
At a workbench, craft the following items: a Log Chair (from Lumber), a Wooden Plate (from Lumber), and a Bonfire (from Sturdy Sticks and Stone). If you do not have a Leppa Berry, search for Leppa Berry trees around Bleak Beach or use any food item that can be placed on the plate.
Walk along the Bleak Beach shoreline and find a Large Palm Tree. These are the tall tropical trees growing near the beach. You do not need to plant one; several already exist in the area.
Place the Log Chair, Wooden Plate with food, and Bonfire near the Large Palm Tree. All items need to be within proximity of each other and the palm tree. Look for the sparkle effect that confirms the habitat has been properly assembled.
Bring Torchic over to the Bonfire. Torchic will use its fire abilities to ignite the campfire, completing the Resort Meal Prep habitat and adding bloom points to the area.
Resort Meal Prep habitat: Attracts Growlithe, Torchic, and Combusken to the area.
Bloom points: The lit campfire contributes bloom points toward the Brighten Things Up Important Request.
Story progression: Completing this habitat advances the Bleak Beach storyline.
The Bonfire requires Torchic to light it. Make sure Torchic is following you before you attempt to set everything up.
If the habitat is not registering, try adjusting the spacing of the items. All components need to be close to the palm tree for the game to recognize the habitat.
Growlithe is an excellent Fire-type companion for the later stages of Bleak Beach and other regions.
