11Overview2233Requests are the quest system in Pokemon Pokopia. They are given by Pokemon NPCs throughout the game world. To receive a request, find a Pokemon displaying a persistent speech bubble above its head, speak to it, and accept the task. Accepted requests can be tracked via the Requests menu (press the + Button, then navigate to the Requests tab in the Pokedex). Completing requests raises Pokemon Comfort Levels, earns rewards, and drives story progression.4455Request Types6677There are two distinct categories of requests:88991010Important Requests11111212Indicated by a yellow speech bubble above the Pokemon.Multi-step, complex quests tied to the main story progression.Required to advance toward the end credits and unlock new regions. Each of the four main areas has its own Important Request storyline.Every area requires: completing its Important Request, rebuilding its Pokemon Center, and raising the Environment Level to 5.13131414General Requests15151616Indicated by regular (non-yellow) speech bubbles.Shorter, simpler tasks: fetch quests, escort missions, deliveries, habitat building, item crafting.Optional for story progression but important for raising Pokemon Comfort Levels. Some give direct rewards (items, decorations, recipes, Life Coins); others only raise Comfort.17171818Important Requests by Region19192020Withered Wasteland: "Yawn Up a Storm!"21212222The first major quest. Use Water Gun to increase humidity across the area, build a Rain Dance Site (requires 2 Castform Weather Charms, 1 Plate, 1 Leppa Berry), trigger Slowpoke's yawn to summon rain, encounter Kyogre in the ocean, then rescue Onix trapped in a cave by breaking softened rocks. Completing this quest earns the Great Trainer Rank and unlocks the gates to Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges.23232424Bleak Beach: "Brighten Things Up!"25252626Restore light and electricity to the permanently dark Bleak Beach. Accumulate 100 Bloom Points by lighting streetlamps with Electric-type Pokemon, installing Utility Poles, connecting generators (windmill, waterwheels, furnace), and activating five charging stations. Meet Peakychu (a new Pikachu variant), then encounter Raikou and wake Mosslax. See the Mosslax article for the full walkthrough.27272828Rocky Ridges: "Time to Party!"29293030Chef Dente, Professor Tangrowth, and DJ Rotom want to throw a party to bring humans back to Kanto. This multi-phase quest involves clearing volcanic ash, recruiting Ludicolo, crafting 5 Party Platters from Iron Ingots, preparing 5 meals, raising the area mood to 100 points, then gathering ingredients (15 Beans, 15 Leppa Berries, 15 Wheat, 5 Honey) for Chef Dente's large cooking pot. Assembling 5 Pokemon and cooking curry (takes 6 real-world minutes) triggers Volcanion's appearance at the mountaintop.31313232Sparkling Skylands: "Rebuild the Huge Building!"33333434A four-floor construction project with Tinkmaster in Sparkling Skylands. Each floor requires increasingly advanced materials (Concrete, Glass, Poke Ingots, Shiny Stones, Glowing Stones, Copper Ingots) and Pokemon helpers. Floor 2 requires Chef Dente from Rocky Ridges, and Floor 4 requires Peakychu from Bleak Beach. Each floor takes one real-time hour to build. Examining the Master Ball on the rooftop grants the Master Trainer Rank.35353636Team Initiation Challenge37373838An 8-part challenge at a sand-covered tower on the Withered Wasteland beach. Important Requests are narrative milestones that resolve permanently. General Requests raise a Pokemon's Comfort Level upon completion, marking a finite progression step. Once completed, requests do not reappear.61616262For ongoing Comfort building beyond requests, players can decorate habitats, give gifts and food, play games with Pokemon, and move Pokemon into houses.63636464Difficulty Scaling65656666Request complexity and material requirements escalate significantly across regions:67676868RegionDifficultyTypical MaterialsWithered WastelandBeginnerLumber, Stones, Leaves, Vine Ropes, Leppa BerriesBleak BeachIntermediateBricks, electrical components, Shell Lamps, Utility PolesRocky RidgesAdvancedIron Ingots, Copper Ingots, crafted items (Frying Pan, Party Platters)Sparkling SkylandsExpertConcrete, Glass, Poke Ingots, Shiny Stones, Glowing Stones, Tinkagears6969The number of Pokemon helpers required also scales: early quests need 1 to 2, while Sparkling Skylands quests can require 6 to 15 Pokemon.70707171Trainer Rank Progression72727373Important Requests directly control Trainer Rank advancement:74747575RankUnlock TriggerAreas UnlockedNo RankStart of gameWithered Wasteland, Palette TownGreatComplete "Yawn Up a Storm!" + meet KyogreBleak Beach + Rocky RidgesUltraComplete "Brighten Things Up!" + "Time to Party!"Sparkling SkylandsMasterExamine Master Ball atop the Huge BuildingStory completion7676Limited-Time Event Requests77777878The first limited event, "More Spores for Hoppip" (March 9 to 24, 2026), introduced event-specific tasks: collect Cotton Spores scattered in the world, exchange them for picnic-themed furniture, and use that furniture to create habitats attracting Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff (event-exclusive Pokemon). Event requests require at least one rebuilt Pokemon Center to access.79798080Tips81818282Look for yellow speech bubbles to find Important Requests. Regular bubbles indicate General Requests.Track active requests via the Requests tab in the Pokedex (+ Button).Complete General Requests to raise Comfort Levels, which raises Environment Level, which unlocks new shop items and Pokemon. Some requests teach new moves (Rock Smash from Hitmonchan, Surf from Lapras, Rollout from Graveler). Prioritize these for exploration access.Stock up on materials before traveling to a new region. Later Important Requests have steep material costs.Building houses for Pokemon is described as the fastest way to raise Environment Level.
