Pichu is an Electric-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Tiny Mouse Pokemon (Dex #078). Pichu is found in the Withered Wasteland at the Picnic Set habitat. It carries the Generate specialty, allowing it to power nearby machines during its free time. In the main series, Pichu is the baby form of Pikachu and the first stage of the Pikachu evolutionary line. However, there is no evolution mechanic in Pokopia; each stage is a separate Pokedex entry that must be befriended individually.

Pichu appears as a Common visitor at this habitat. The Picnic Set is one of the earlier habitats players can construct, since seats and tables are readily available from the start. Pichu is available at all times of day and in all weather conditions.
The Picnic Set habitat also attracts Pikachu in Palette Town. Pichu specifically spawns when the habitat is built in the Withered Wasteland region.
Pichu appears in Withered Wasteland, the game's opening region. Since Picnic Baskets, seats, and tables are available early in the game, Pichu can be befriended relatively quickly after starting your adventure.
Build the Picnic Set habitat in Withered Wasteland by placing a Picnic Basket, two seats, and a table near each other. After a short wait, Pichu will appear at the habitat. Walk up and interact with Pichu to befriend it.
Pichu has the Generate specialty. Pokemon with Generate will power nearby machines in their free time. This is especially useful for keeping electrical devices running, such as lights and powered crafting stations. Station Pichu near machinery that needs a power source, and it will keep the equipment charged and operational.

While evolution does not occur in Pokopia, each member of the Pikachu family is a separate Pokedex entry with its own habitat. Pichu and Pikachu share the Generate specialty, while Raichu gains the additional Hype specialty.
Pichu is one of the earliest Electric-type Pokemon you can befriend. Place it near powered equipment in Withered Wasteland to keep your early machines running.
