Initial outfits and customization guide
Character customization in Pokemon Pokopia includes hairstyles, hair colors, and outfits. At game start, players choose from 7 base hairstyles and 28 hair color shades. Appearance changes can be made at any time by interacting with a mirror object. Outfits are found as collectible "Human Records" throughout the game world, each referencing a classic Pokemon character or trainer class.

Outfits are stored in "Human Records," which appear as glowing collectible books with yellow sparkles in the environment. Walk up to one and press A to collect it. The outfit is immediately added to your wardrobe and can be equipped from the character menu.
Mirrors for changing your appearance can be found in various locations throughout the game, purchased from the Pokemon Center PC Shop, or crafted at a Workbench. Any mirror object works, including wall-mounted and freestanding variants.
Beyond the main outfits, the character creator includes hairstyle and color options referencing classic Pokemon characters. Players have identified options resembling Blue's FireRed/LeafGreen appearance, Misty's hairstyle, and the Sun & Moon Sightseer NPC look.
