Updated the rerun status now that Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest has returned, added the second run to the Known Events table, and fixed the ordinal for the Feebas event
11Overview22Pokemon Pokopia is a relaxed game with very few permanently missable decisions. Most actions can be undone or redone: buildings can be demolished and rebuilt, Pokemon habitats can be rearranged, and appearance can be changed at any time using a mirror. However, there are a small number of irreversible choices and time-limited content that players should be aware of.44Permanent Decisions66These choices cannot be changed after they are made:88Character Name1111The player's character name is chosen at the start of the game and cannot be changed afterward. This is the name that appears in multiplayer, on the Pokedex, and in dialogue. Choose carefully.1313Note: Character appearance (skin color, hair, clothing) CAN be changed at any time using a standing mirror purchased from the PC Shop. Only the name is permanent.1515Starting Island Layout1717All playthroughs begin in Withered Wasteland with the same basic island layout. This initial configuration is essential for the tutorial and cannot be altered in terms of the base terrain generation. While players can build on, modify, and reshape the terrain extensively, the underlying layout seed is fixed per save file.1919Limited-Time Events2121Pokemon Pokopia features limited-time events that provide access to special guest Pokemon. These Pokemon are only obtainable during the event window. Once befriended, event Pokemon stay on your island permanently even after the event ends. However, if you miss the event entirely, those Pokemon cannot be obtained until a potential rerun. As of September 7, 2026 no rerun of any past event has been announced.22+Pokemon Pokopia features limited-time events that provide access to special guest Pokemon. These Pokemon are only obtainable during the event window. Once befriended, event Pokemon stay on your island permanently even after the event ends. However, if you miss the event entirely, those Pokemon cannot be obtained until a rerun. Reruns do happen: Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest returned from September 20 to September 28, 2026, although that contest awards items rather than a Pokemon. As of September 21, 2026 no rerun of a Pokemon-granting event has been announced.2323The Wish Upon a Jirachi Event ran from June 23 to July 8, 2026 (ending 4:59 AM local time). Its sparkling-wish-note rewards (starry-sky furniture and decor) could only be earned and traded during that window, so any trades with Jirachi had to be finished before it closed. As with other Limited-Time Events, the featured Pokemon and items are tied to the event period.2525To participate in events, you must have rebuilt the Pokemon Center in at least one town.2727The Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest ran from July 19 to July 27, 2026 and closed at 4:59 AM local time on the final day. Its rewards were tied to your best completion time during the window, and the commemorative trophy was only obtainable while the contest was live. Unlike the currency events, there is nothing to carry over and trade in afterwards, so times had to be set before the window shut.2929The next event, Fetching Scales for Feebas ran from August 13 to August 28, 2026 and closed at 4:59 AM local time on the final day. Feebas appeared in front of rebuilt Pokemon Centers and asked for help collecting Prism Scales, exchanged for items including swimming-themed furniture that suits habitats for Feebas and Milotic.
